FPSC Reschedules CSS 2027 MPT to October 10
The Federal Public Service Commission has changed the date of the CSS Competitive Examination
2027 MCQ-Based Preliminary Test. The MPT will now be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026 instead of
the previously announced September 27 date.
FPSC said the change was made to facilitate candidates and ensure smooth conduct of the
examination after a protest was announced for the original date. The commission has clarified that
only the test date has changed and the remaining terms and conditions stay the same.
Candidates should update their preparation calendar and continue checking FPSC for roll-number
slips, center information and any further notices. Because the MPT is a screening requirement for the
written CSS examination, missing the revised date would prevent an otherwise eligible candidate
from progressing in the 2027 competitive examination cycle.
