Punjab Extends College Principal Application Deadline

Lahore: Punjab has extended the deadline for applications for permanent principal positions in government
colleges, giving eligible candidates until September 1, 2026 to complete the process. The appointments
form part of the fourth phase of a provincial effort to place regular heads in colleges that have been
functioning without permanent leadership.
According to the latest update, 100 colleges across Punjab are included in this phase and both male
and female candidates are eligible where posts are available. The move is intended to strengthen
academic supervision, administrative accountability and day-to-day institutional management.
Candidates should review the Higher Education Department requirements carefully and submit
complete applications before the revised closing date.
