AIOU Announces PhD, MPhil and MS Entry Test Dates
Allama Iqbal Open University has announced entry-test dates for PhD, MPhil and MS admissions for
the Autumn 2026 semester. Faculty-specific tests run from August 24 to August 28, with all papers
scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m.
The Faculty of Education test is scheduled for August 24, Social Sciences and Humanities for August
27, and Sciences for August 28. AIOU is conducting tests at its main Academic Complex in Islamabad
as well as regional campuses in Multan, Quetta, Karachi and Gilgit.
Candidates may use an available listed center according to university instructions but must appear on
the date assigned to their faculty. Only applicants who qualify the entry test will move to the
interview stage, after which final merit will be determined. Applicants should carry required
identification and admission documents and verify any last-minute instructions on AIOU’s official
website.
