PMDC Sets NRE Step 1 Exam for October 11

The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council has announced the 2026 schedule for National Registration
Examination Step 1. Online registration opens on August 27 and closes on September 10, while the
examination is scheduled for Sunday, October 11, 2026.

PMDC has assigned the National University of Medical Sciences in Rawalpindi to conduct the
examination. The NRE is an important regulatory requirement for relevant medical graduates seeking
registration in Pakistan, so candidates should complete the application carefully and keep copies of
submitted documents and fee records.
