UVAS Releases First Merit List for 40 Programs

The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences has released the first merit list for 40
undergraduate programs for the 2026 admission cycle. Publication of the list begins the next stage for
selected applicants, who must complete university requirements within the stated deadlines to secure
their seats.

Merit-list admission is time-sensitive. Candidates should check the exact program, campus, fee
voucher, document-verification requirements and last date for payment on the official UVAS
admissions portal. A name appearing on a list does not necessarily complete enrollment unless the
student fulfills the required steps on time.

Applicants who are not selected in the first list should continue monitoring subsequent lists rather
than assuming the process has ended. Movement can occur when selected candidates do not deposit
fees or shift programs. Taleem Nama recommends saving a copy of the relevant merit list and
payment receipt for future reference.
